If you’re a not-for-profit group and you can’t afford commercial vehicle hire, the SmartLink Transport Register can help you. Once you join the register you can request vehicles owned by other community groups.
You can use your own driver or SmartLink can arrange a volunteer driver for you for an extra $30 fee. If you use a volunteer driver, please look after them and make sure you arrange a meal on the day (usually lunch). See also More driver info.
Hiring fees start at $90-$120 per day, depending on vehicle size. This includes a $25 administration fee.
All similar vehicles generally cost the same to borrow, except Blue Mountains City Council (BMCC) vehicles, which are slightly cheaper as they are subsidised by BMCC.

Invoices will be emailed to you. You can pay by cheque or direct deposit.
Refuelling and Cleaning
All vehicles must be returned refuelled and cleaned inside and out. Most lenders have cleaning facilities at the drop-off point.
There are no carers provides by the SmartLink Register – groups need to provide their own carers.
